Indigo Hotel, Taipei, China is a hotel and retail complex located in the newly developed commercial and commercial district of Taipei, China. The Indigo Hotel aims to become a new highlight landmark in the region. The design concept applies the local historical context of Dazhi, which was once a prosperous place for brick and tile industry and kiln.

设计概念以早期大直基隆河沿岸的砖窑厂为发想，建筑物立面取材砖的意象，北向立面以手工劈裂面砖传达砖的质感，南向立面采用现代感的金属铝板，呈现过往与现代的对比。

The design concept is based on the early brick kiln factory along the Dazhijilong River. The building facade uses the image of bricks. The north facade uses hand-split face bricks to convey the texture of bricks, and the south facade uses modern metal aluminum plates to present the contrast between the past and the modern.

建筑物配置呼应不规则扇形基地，以长弧形平面布置客房走廊动线，将客房面宽最大化，创造开阔的视角，并以中央广场活动作为都市空间节点，吸引与汇聚市民活动。建筑物五楼至十楼为149间客房的精品旅馆，裙楼设有购物商场。

The building configuration echoes the irregular fan-shaped base, and the moving line of the guestroom corridor is arranged with a long arc plane to maximize the width of the guestroom, create an open perspective, and take the activities of the central square as the urban space node to attract and gather the activities of citizens. The fifth to tenth floors of the building are 149 guestroom boutique hotels, and the podium is equipped with shopping malls.

砖的意象被纳入外墙的设计中，北立面上的手裂瓷砖代表了砖的触感，而铝板则传达了南立面上的现代本质。在两个主要立面上，不同材料的使用表达了历史和当代的连续性。建筑的布局是为不规则的扇形场地量身定制的，以便将酒店的走廊以最佳的循环方式排列。

The image of brick is incorporated into the design of the exterior wall. The hand-cracked tile on the north facade represents the touch of the brick, while the aluminum plate conveys the modern essence of the south facade. On the two main facades, the use of different materials expresses the continuity of history and contemporary. The layout of the building is tailored for the irregular fan-shaped field, so as to arrange the corridors of the hotel in the best circulation way.

弧形的规划允许在整个场地的宽度上进行灵活的布局，并从客房中创造出广角的视野。该设计还使中央广场成为一个城市节点，人们会被吸引过来并聚集在这里。该建筑内有149间客房的精品酒店，裙楼是一个带有美食广场和餐厅的零售空间。

The arc planning allows flexible layout on the width of the whole site and creates a wide angle view from the guest room. The design also makes the central square a city node where people will be attracted and gathered. The building is a boutique hotel with 149 rooms, and the podium is a retail space with food plaza and restaurant.
