However, as commercial activities and tourists gradually took over the pondside, the daily life of the villagers was forced to retreat. With the decline in commercial activity, the area now faces a dilemma. Currently overgrown with weeds but lush with trees, the east bank is separated from the Dongyin Canal by a road. Compared to the commercially dense west bank, it naturally offers a better space for residents. With a clear goal, we cleaned up the vegetation on the east bank and introduced a narrow walkway along the pond embankment.
