Isumi别墅的建筑不仅具备内部功能，更在更大程度上突显了户外场地的魅力，使之成为令人印象深刻的空间。为了营造出一个突显户外景观的“背景”，建筑设计中设置了一堵长达45米的混凝土墙，以包裹住一片达2000平方米的空地。建筑本体仿佛与沿着夷隅川河岸并行的防洪墙相呼应，该河床一直延伸至项目现场。

The architecture of the Isumi Villa creates not only an internal function, but to a larger affect it highlights the outdoor field as an impressive space. For the purpose of creating a strong “background” that emphasizes the outdoors, a 45m long concrete wall was constructed to accommodate a 2000m2 field. The building mirrors the flood wall that stands parallel to the Isumi river bank, whose riverbed stretches all the way to the site.

别墅设有与户外相连的“泥地厨房”，人们可以穿着鞋子直接进入室内；客厅可供人在室内外欣赏音乐与电影；而小巧的卧室则保留了露营的氛围。车库空间简洁而线性，便于人们享受汽车与各种手工艺活动，并通过跨越生态池塘的方式前往独立的浴室与桑拿房。

The villa features a dirt floor kitchen that connects to the outdoors, so you can walk in with your shoes on, as well as a living room where you can enjoy music and movies from both inside and outside, and a small bedroom that maintains the feeling of camping. The garage space, where you can enjoy cars and various crafts, is simple, linear, and gives access to a separate bathroom and sauna by crossing to the biotope.

It was important that the architecture was created with the idea that it exists to enjoy the outdoors. The scenery of the waves from the majestic sea and the Isumi River blending together is the strength and beauty of nature, and the villa wall acts as a background that mixes and stirs the excitement of the viewer without sacrificing it. Cherish the experience of being in a vast field where you can experience nature and biodiversity with all five senses, observe to your heart’s content, and become one with it, dynamically blending in.
