帆赛基地潮汐塔，日照/建筑
潮汐塔是日照市的标志性建筑之一，塔高24米，主体通体透明，中部设有外伸观景平台，平台外面装饰莲花瓣形金属网，宛若莲花盛绽之态；部分构架采用节节收缩的方法，外饰透光玻璃，以整个天空作为它的背景。

塔的底部是一个大的功能区，内建有海战馆，展馆取材于宋金时期发生在日照石臼岛的一次著名海战，史称陈家岛海战。这次海战是作为中国古代四大发明之一的火药、火器应用于战争之后的第一次大规模海战。展馆以古代海战兵器、古战争遗留物、古战船模型、图片、文字说明、史实资料、沙盘、雕塑等多种表现形式，再现日照海战全过程，同时概括的了解中国海军发展历程。

日照水上公园的最南边就是世帆赛基地，这是亚洲第一的帆船训练基地，也常有大型龙舟赛在此举行。西岸的三座建筑是基地内的主要建筑。位于北部的是帆船俱乐部，中部的水上控制中心和位于南岸的船库丈量室，设计简洁有力，都是园区内夺人眼球的建筑。
