Esquina大楼位于圣保罗皮涅鲁斯街与弗朗西斯科·莱唐街交叉口。项目名称源自葡萄牙语“街角”，旨在提供一种关于如何占据城市重要街区拐角位置的建筑思考，并将其视为汇聚与停留之地。该项目由UNA barbara e valentim为开发商Nortis设计，从皮涅鲁斯街区的多样性和高密度环境中汲取灵感，建筑最终呈现为兼具多样功能、类型学多样性以及更加开放直接的城市关系。

Located at the intersection of Pinheiros and Francisco Leitão streets, in São Paulo, the Esquina Building – named after the Portuguese word for “corner” – offers an architectural reflection on occupying an urban corner of an important neighborhood of the city as a place of confluence and permanence. Designed by UNA barbara e valentim for the developer Nortis, the project draws on the surrounding heterogeneity and the density of Pinheiros neighborhood to develop an architecture that combines mixed use, typological diversity, and more open and straightforward urban relationships.

该项目由两座不同高度的体量构成：面向皮涅鲁斯街的一栋为商业楼，底层为零售空间，上部五层为模块化办公单元。另一栋住宅塔楼则可从弗朗西斯科·莱唐街进入，包含三种不同类型的两居与三居公寓，另设四层为单间公寓。

The complex is defined by two blocks of different heights: facing Pinheiros Street, the commercial one includes retail venues on the ground floor and five floors of offices in modular units. The residential tower, also accessible from Francisco Leitão Street, includes three distinct types of 2 and 3-bedroom apartments, in addition to four floors dedicated to studio apartments.

第六层空间连接了两栋楼宇，并设置了共享设施，包括健身房、运动区、桑拿房以及游泳池。游泳池设置于商业楼之上，并通过空中桥连接，人们在此可俯瞰Jardins社区的宜人景致。

The sixth floor connects the two blocks and houses shared amenities, such as a gym, fitness areas, saunas, and a swimming pool – the latter being located atop the commercial block and accessible via a bridge, offering a pleasant view of the Jardins neighborhood.

建筑在设计中采用了清水混凝土与金属窗框，配合水平楼板线条与连续的阳台，既拓展了居住空间，也强化了室内外过渡的概念。

The architecture explores the use of exposed concrete and window frames, with horizontal slab markings and continuous balconies that expand the living area and reinforce the idea of transition between interior and exterior.

建筑立面通过虚实交替营造出节奏与动感，同时运用植被作为建筑元素，提供遮阳并以人性尺度与社区融合。绿植的存在延伸至露台与屋顶，体现了对空间通透性和垂直尺度景观延续性的关注。

The facades bring rhythm and movement through the alternation of solids and voids, in addition to the use of vegetation as an architectural element that contributes to shading, human scale, and integration with the neighborhood. The presence of greenery extends to terraces and rooftops, revealing a concern with porosity and the continuity of the landscape on a vertical scale.

植被的使用不仅提供了遮阴，还强化了不同功能之间的关系，提升了开放区域的品质，并与街区环境相融合。由Soma Arquitetos设计的景观从人行道布局开始，延伸至露台和屋顶，展现了对空间通透性及垂直景观延续性的思考。

The use of vegetation contributes to shading and the relationship between uses, enhancing open areas and integrating with the neighborhood. The landscaping design by Soma Arquitetos begins with the sidewalk layout and extends to terraces and rooftops, revealing a concern with porosity and the continuity of the vertical landscape.

Esquina大楼的建筑设计旨在凸显混合功能的优势：在底层设计了商业区，并在面向皮涅鲁斯街的一侧设置了办公功能的小体量建筑。这避免了在设计中使用隔绝建筑与公共空间的围墙，从而改善人行道体验，体现了设计团队注重建筑在推动更加多元与开放城市性中的作用。

The architecture of Esquina Building sought to highlight the virtues of mixed use by designing a commercial area on the ground floor and a small building facing Pinheiros street, occupied by office spaces. It avoids the use of walls that isolate buildings from public areas, enhancing sidewalks and pointing to a design mindset attentive to the role of architecture in fostering a more plural and generous urbanity.
