Its significance extends far beyond architectural design; it is, first and foremost, a dialogue between history and time. Seventy-two years of elapsed time have left their indelible marks across every brick wall, their fragmented, quiet traces preserved within the very fabric of the building. Many of the wood and brick details have long since faded, while the windows remain relatively intact. Several Chinese parasol trees and an old pomegranate tree, which have stood on the site for decades, require only minimal pruning and careful preservation. The decommissioned cast-concrete utility pole was also earmarked for preservation: to this end, an 11-meter-tall vertical glass block enclosure was constructed to house it, allowing rainwater to enter, with wild grasses, moss, and vines planted within. Here, time, vegetation, and architecture intertwine wildly and grow freely, merging with the brand identity of the new project to form a one-of-a-kind “historical art installation”. Soaring skyward, it is visible to people from a great distance.
