Despite a high ratio of greenery, a unique demographic—80% commuters and only 20% permanent residents—resulted in a streetscape that was rough and lackng in texture. At the same time, curbside temporary parking was reorganized to meet essential needs while reducing interference with moving traffic. In the details, the renovation of the boundary walls employs restrained interventions—replacing structural members and updating finishes—while the color and texture of the pavement emphasize coherence and a rhythmic, sequential order.
