成立55年来，中建三局秉持“敢为天下先，永远争第一”的“争先”精神，创造了三天一层楼的“深圳速度”，书写了中国改革开放的代名词。先后承建、参建包括上海环球金融中心（492米）、天津117大厦（597米）、北京中国尊（528）米在内的全国20个省、区、市第一高楼，以及被誉为“世界新十大建筑奇迹”的央视新址CCTV大楼、“雄安新区第一标”——雄安市民活动中心等一大批代表性工程，累计获得鲁班奖（国优奖）243项、专利1400多项。在2020年抗击新冠肺炎疫情中，中建三局牵头承建武汉火神山医院，独立承建武汉雷神山医院，创造了与疫情赛跑的“中国速度”。

As well as a large number of representative projects such as the new CCTV building, which is known as the "New ten architectural wonders of the world", and the "first standard of Xiongan New Area" - Xiongan Civic Activity Center, they have won 243 Luban Awards (National Excellence Awards) and more than 1,400 patents. In the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic in 2020, the third Bureau of China Construction led the construction of Wuhan Huoshenshan Hospital and independently contracted the construction of Wuhan Leishenshan Hospital, creating a "Chinese speed" in the race against the epidemic.

如今，中建三局发展成为年合同额达5211亿元、营业收入达2703亿元的现代企业集团，主要经济指标多年位居中建集团工程局榜首、湖北百强企业第二名，先后蝉联三届全国文明单位，四次捧回全国五一劳动奖状，正朝着“成为最具价值创造力的世界一流投资建设集团”的目标不懈奋斗。
