2014年，MAD赢得卢卡斯叙事艺术博物馆国际竞赛，成为首位赢得海外文化地标建筑设计权的中国建筑事务所。

In 2014, mad won the Lucas Museum of narrative art international competition and became the first Chinese architectural firm to win the right to design overseas cultural landmarks.

MAD文化项目包括鄂尔多斯博物馆（2011年建成）、哈尔滨大剧院（2015年建成）、光之隧道（2018年建成）、中国爱乐乐团音乐厅（建造中）、义乌大剧院、鹿特丹FENIX移民博物馆（建造中）、海口云洞图书馆（2021年建成）、深圳湾文化广场等；其他城市项目包括日本四叶草之家（2015年建成）、朝阳公园广场（2017年建成）、乐成四合院幼儿园（2020年建成）、中国企业家论坛会议中心（2021年）、嘉兴火车站（建造中）、衢州体育公园等（建造中）、南京证大喜玛拉雅中心（建造中）等。 在建筑实践的同时，MAD通过文字出版、建筑展览、学术讲座和演讲，记录和探讨对建筑、文化、艺术的思考。

Mad cultural projects include Ordos Museum (completed in 2011), Harbin Grand Theater (completed in 2015), tunnel of light (completed in 2018), China Philharmonic Orchestra Concert Hall (under construction), Yiwu Grand Theater, Phoenix Immigration Museum in Rotterdam (under construction), Haikou Yundong Library (completed in 2021), Shenzhen Bay Cultural Square, etc; Other urban projects include the Japanese four leaf clover house (completed in 2015), Chaoyang Park Square (completed in 2017), Lecheng Siheyuan Kindergarten (completed in 2020), China Entrepreneur Forum Conference Center (2021), Jiaxing railway station (under construction), Quzhou Sports Park (under construction), Nanjing Zendai Himalayan Center (under construction), etc. At the same time of architectural practice, mad records and discusses the thinking of architecture, culture and art through text publishing, architectural exhibitions, academic lectures and speeches.

MAD出版物包括：《疯狂晚餐》、《光明城市》、《马岩松：从（全球）现代化到（当地）传统》、《山水城市》、《MAD X》、《MAD Rhapsody》、及《光之隧道》。MAD在国内外文化艺术机构举办的重要展览包括：2019年，法国蓬皮杜艺术中心为MAD举办永久馆藏个展 “MAD X”；2014年于UCCA举办“山水城市”个展；2010年与艺术家奥拉维尔·埃利亚松在UCCA合作展览“感觉即真实”；2007年于丹麦建筑中心举办个展“MAD In China”。

Mad publications include crazy dinner, bright city, Ma Yansong: from (global) modernization to (local) tradition, Shanshui City, mad x, mad Rhapsody, and tunnel of light. Major exhibitions held by mad in cultural and art institutions at home and abroad include: in 2019, the French Pompidou Art Center held a permanent collection solo exhibition "mad X" for mad; In 2014, "landscape city" solo exhibition was held in UCCA; In 2010, he cooperated with artist olavieliasson in the UCCA Exhibition "feeling is reality"; In 2007, he held a solo exhibition "mad in China" at the Danish Architecture Center.

MAD在多届 “威尼斯建筑双年展” 和 “米兰设计周” 上都有重要展览。MAD作品曾在维多利亚与阿尔伯特博物馆（伦敦）、路易斯安那现代艺术博物馆（哥本哈根）、MAXXI博物馆（罗马）等美术馆展出。法国蓬皮杜艺术中心与香港M+视觉艺术博物馆将MAD的一系列建筑模型列为永久收藏。 MAD建筑事务所于北京、洛杉矶、罗马、嘉兴分别设有办公室。

Mad has held important exhibitions in several "Venice Architecture Biennale" and "Milan Design Week". Mad works have been exhibited in Victoria and Albert Museum (London), Louisiana Museum of modern art (Copenhagen), maxxi Museum (Rome) and other art museums. The Pompidou Art Center in France and the m+ Visual Art Museum in Hong Kong have listed a series of architectural models of mad as permanent collections. Mad has offices in Beijing, Los Angeles, Rome and Jiaxing.
