虎之门艾迪逊酒店是东京最近新建成的奢华酒店，由隈研吾结合伊恩·施拉格的愿景设计完成，并于2020年10月20日开放迎接了首批顾客。BAM很荣幸的为这座酒店设计了一个颇具特色的户外露台，在这里能够远眺东京标志性天际线。BAM曾前往日本，同当地建筑师与室内设计师携手合作，建造了一片奢华的绿洲，将这座城市中如东京塔等最著名的地标建筑框进人们的视线中。

The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon, the city’s newest luxury hotel designed by Kengo Kuma with the vision of Ian Schrager, opened its doors to first guests October 20 this year. BAM had the honor to design the hotel’s highlight, a rooftop terrace overlooking Tokyo’s iconic skyline. BAM travelled to Japan and worked together with architects and interior designers to construct a luxurious green oasis that frames the city’s most famous landmarks such as the Tokyo Tower.

东京虎之门艾迪逊酒店将这座古城的真实历史与近年来重塑了城市天际线的现代摩天大楼融为一体。酒店交通便利，靠近地铁神谷町站、六本木一丁目站和虎之门站，距东京最好的街区和最著名的景点仅几步之遥。酒店设有206间客房，其中包括22间套房，可欣赏东京天际线的标志性景观。酒店共有三个餐厅，其中的一座特色餐厅设有可俯瞰东京塔的户外露台、全日餐厅、大堂休闲茶座、3间豪华酒吧、包含6间理疗室的定制水疗中心、配备先进设施的健身房，以及包含4个会议室的387平方米的活动空间。

The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon embraces both the authentic history of the ancient city along with the modern skyscrapers that have recently revitalized the city’s skyline. Conveniently located near the subway stations of Kamiyacho, Roppongi-Itchome and Toranomon, the hotel is steps away from Tokyo’s best neighborhoods and attractions. The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon features 206 guest rooms including 22 suites with iconic views of the Tokyo skyline. The hotel’s design includes 3 restaurants, featuring a specialty restaurant with an outdoor terrace overlooking Tokyo Tower, an all-day dining venue and lobby lounge, 3 lounge bars, custom designed spa with 6 treatment rooms, state-of-the-art gym and 387 sqm of event space with 4 meeting studios.

BAM总共选用了超过725个种植钵和花池，为虎之门艾迪逊酒店创造了郁郁葱葱的绿色景观。由于该种植方案大部分被用于31楼和32楼，且东京又极易遭受台风等自然灾害的侵袭，因此需要在技术层面和结构层面进行大量调试。最终仅所有植物用到的土壤重量就达到了13万公斤。

In total BAM specified over 725 pots and planters to fill the Toranomon Edition with a lush green landscape. Because most of this planting lives on the 3lst and 32nd floors it requires a great deal of technical and structural coordination specially considering Tokyo’s typhoon exposure. The soil weight alone for all of the plants is roughly 130,000kg!

得益于限研吾的室内设计为建筑提供了充足的自然采光，BAM在大堂和酒吧区域种植了超大型的植物组团。仅室内区域就栽植有220多株植物。

Kengo Kuma’s interior design offered excellent natural lighting which allowed BAM to fill the lobby and bar areas with supersized clusters of planting, over 220 plants in the interior alone.
