Pudong art museum is a brand-new public cultural place, which is exposed in Lujiazui building complex in an implicit and peaceful manner. The building covers an area of 13000 square meters, with a total construction area of 40590 square meters and a main body height of 30 meters. The plot is adjacent to the riverside landscape belt of Huangpu River in the West and a public green space directly reaching the Oriental Pearl TV Tower in the East. The design makes the above area a public activity area full of artistic flavor as a whole.

隔江而望，建筑以超大玻璃幕墙面向外滩，最大的玻璃达到3米宽12米高，透过大玻璃，室内侧单向镜面和LED屏幕的叠加，使西立面可作为镜子反射外滩建筑群，或作为巨幅展示屏使美术馆成为一件艺术装置、一个艺术事件。

Looking across the river, the building faces the Bund with a super large glass curtain wall. The largest glass is 3 meters wide and 12 meters high. Through the large glass, the superposition of indoor one-way mirror and LED screen makes the West facade reflect the Bund buildings as a mirror, or as a huge display screen, making the art museum an art installation and an art event.

空间构造

浦东美术馆所用的材料，山东白麻大理石。林易锴图“领地”是白的，“一种材料”——山东白麻大理石将白色领地勾勒而出，无论是美术馆外部墙面、天台，廊桥、花园，还是内部地面和墙面使用的均是这种石材，只是通过不同的打磨方法，构建出不同的质感。

Spatial structure

The material used in Pudong art museum is Shandong white hemp marble. Lin Yikai's "territory" is white, "a kind of material" - Shandong white hemp marble outlines the white territory. This kind of stone is used in the external walls, rooftops, corridor bridges, gardens of the art museum, as well as the internal floors and walls, but different grinding methods are used to build different textures.

进入美术馆内部空间，“至上主义”贯穿始终，白色墙面如纸，搭出纯粹的几何形体、黑色的直线、斜线、交叉线。

Entering the internal space of the art museum, "supremacy" runs through all the time. The white walls are like paper, creating pure geometric shapes, black straight lines, slashes, and cross lines.

浦东美术馆内部。浦东美术馆建筑共39724平方米，分地上4层，地下两层，包括了13个大小不一的展厅。除了2个面向外滩的“镜厅”外，贯穿4层30米的“X展厅”也是特色之一。
