Smartass Bazhana是Smartass连锁品牌在基辅左岸开设的首家传统类型俱乐部，总面积606m²。传统的Smartass俱乐部以夜店般的氛围进行团体健身课程，因此通常会选址在半地下空间，或与住宅保持一定距离。Smartass Bazhana堪称幸运，因为它正好入驻了购物中心地下原本是一家酒吧的场所。

Smartass Bazhana is the first traditional type of club of the Smartass chain on the left bank of Kyiv and has an overall area of 606 m2. Traditional Smartass clubs specialize in group fitness classes in the atmosphere of a nightclub. As a rule, this dictates the choice of premises with a semi-basement location or at a certain distance from the dwelling. Smartass Bazhana hit the jackpot, as it got the premises of a former pub in the basement of the shopping mall.

进入主区域前，访客需要沿一条弯曲走廊下行——从这里起，Smartass设计团队便开始将他们带入Smartass独有的氛围魔力之中。穹顶被遮光材料包覆，走廊两侧点缀霓虹灯与镜面，在半明半暗中为空间增添层次感，并营造出轻微的迷离感。

To get to the main area, guests need to go down a curved corridor, from which the Smartass Design team starts to immerse them into the magic of Smartass’s atmosphere by leading them through the dome covered with a light-tight material and adding neon lights and mirrors along the way. In the semi-darkness, they add volume to the room and create a slight disorientation.

在改造中，设计团队尽量减少对现有室内元素和建筑结构的干预。原有的栏杆、瓷砖以及被抹灰层掩盖的表面都被保留。一些因机电工程需要拆除旧瓷砖的区域，则采用自流平混凝土地面处理；不同材质衔接的过渡处，铺设了俱乐部品牌色的亮面马赛克，以形成视觉连接。

We chose to make minimal interventions in the existing interior elements and architecture of the premises. We left the old railings, tiles and revealed surfaces that were hidden under the plaster. In some places we had to demolish the old tiles for engineering work. In these spots we then used a self-leveling concrete floor. Areas, where one material transitions to another were being connected with glossy mosaics in the club’s brand colors.

接待区与迷你咖啡区原本存在地面高差，设计师巧妙利用这一点，在较低的一侧安置了放射状沙发，形成一个私密角落，结果意外地成为会员们最受欢迎的休憩点。

The common area with the reception and mini-cafe had a difference in floor levels, which we used to our advantage, placing a radial sofa in the lower ground. This trick created a nook which turned out to be very popular with the club’s customers.

在接待区对面，是商品展示区。这个位置方便管理员观察，也能让来往健身区的客人轻松注意到陈列。

In the transit area, opposite the reception, merchandise is being displayed. This position makes it easy for administrators to observe it, and to be noticed by guests, who pass it on their way to the fitness area.

继续深入，访客会逐渐沉浸在俱乐部浓郁的色彩情景与时尚氛围中。连接接待区与更衣室的走廊，采用了Smartass的经典蓝与橙配色，两者叠加出类似日落时分的紫色——那是人体线条最迷人的时刻。部分墙面覆盖了波纹状亮面镀锌技术面板，这些面板除了实用的防护功能，还能反射光线，起到装饰作用。

Moving further through the premises, we are increasingly immersed in the rich color scenarios and fashionable atmosphere of the club. The corridor connecting the reception and the locker rooms uses the classic Smartass colors of blue and orange, which create a shade of purple that we see during sunset, when our bodies look most attractive. Part of the walls is covered with galvanized technical panels, which, in addition to their utilitarian protective function, also perform a decorative function by reflecting light with their wavy glossy surface.

在女更衣室内，镜面区域融入了一组不对称的彩色有机玻璃装置。将明亮的品牌蓝色叠加在透明板上，产生了有趣的3D效果，并通过复古爱迪生灯泡的暖光加以强化。

In the women’s locker room we have integrated an asymmetrical installation of colored plexiglass in the mirror area. By layering bright blue corporate color on transparent sheets, we have obtained an interesting 3D effect, which is enhanced by retro Edison-style light bulbs.

俱乐部包含四间训练室：运动塑形操室，拳击室，游戏室，自行车室。每间房都有独特的氛围与灯光情景，教练可利用它们与学员的神经系统互动，从而引导出预期的情绪或身体反应。

The club consists of four training rooms: Barre, Boxing, Games, Cycling. Each of them has its own atmosphere and light scenarios that trainers use to interact with the guests’ nervous system and create the desired emotion or body reaction.
