Andr é Fu, an internationally renowned architectural designer, joined hands with Berkeley Hotel in London to create a new pavilion suite

国际知名室内建筑设计师André Fu及其工作室AFSO近期为经典气派的伦敦柏凯丽酒店（The Berkeley）设计了两间极富现代感的Pavilion 套房。早前，酒店的正门经重新设计，令人耳目一新。酒店的Blue Bar和Collins Room亦换上全新面貌，另增设宽敞的全新宴会厅和各式簇新套房。而Pavilion 套房的出现，将令柏凯丽酒店更上一层楼，为宾客带来终极的当代奢华体验。

Internationally renowned interior architect Andr é Fu and his studio afso recently designed two modern Pavilion Suites for the classic Berkeley Hotel in London. Earlier, the front door of the hotel was redesigned and refreshing. The blue bar and Collins room of the hotel also have a new look, and a spacious new banquet hall and various new suites are added. The emergence of Pavilion suite will take the park plaza hotel to a higher level and bring guests the ultimate contemporary luxury experience.

Pavilion 套房是伦敦其中两间最大和设计最奢华的套房，每个空间主要建构于由玻璃打造的亭阁内，宾客可于视野广阔的露台俯瞰贝尔格莱维亚区（Belgravia）、骑士桥（Knightsbridge）和海德公园（Hyde Park）的景致。玻璃结构提供饶富戏剧性的空间感，为套房注满充足的自然光线，让宾客置身伦敦芸芸的屋顶之上，打造远离市内繁嚣的宁静空间。

The pavilion suite is one of the two largest and most luxurious suites in London. Each space is mainly built in a pavilion made of glass. Guests can overlook the views of Belgravia, Knightsbridge and Hyde Park from a broad terrace. The glass structure provides a dramatic sense of space, fills the suite with sufficient natural light, puts guests on the roof of London, and creates a quiet space away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Pavilion Suites的两间套房分别是The Crescent Pavilion及The Grand Pavilion，都体现André Fu轻松奢华的风格特色，同时亦突显低调的英式风格。套房采用住宅式设计，为长期入住的宾客营造归家般的宁静氛围。André Fu在2012年为柏凯丽酒店设计了 Opus套房，而加上John Heah设计的The Apartment（2017年推出），酒店现为宾客提供一共四间标志性超级套房。入住以上套房的宾客更可享受柏凯丽管家的全天候服务，照顾宾客所需。酒店亦加入特别的服务元素「Signature Service」，例如由充满传奇色彩的米其林二星大厨Marcus Wareing打造的独特餐饮服务，宾客可以独家预订由Marcus Wareing主理的招牌菜式。此外，Blue Bar顶级调酒师将悉心调制鸡尾酒，让宾客置身套房内享受私密空间，细意品尝。套房的设计亦不忘娱乐好客元素，附设饶富戏剧性的玻璃亭——无论是于露台上享用私密的晚餐，或是举办豪华鸡尾酒会，玻璃亭套房都已把好客的招待艺术提升至新境界。酒店更细心地在套房中准备了Burberry经典风衣，可让宾客不论晴雨都可享受伦敦的迷人景致。

The two suites of Pavilion suites are the crescent Pavilion and the grand Pavilion, which both reflect the relaxed and luxurious style of Andr é Fu and highlight the low-key British style. The suite adopts residential design to create a quiet atmosphere of returning home for long-term guests. In 2012, Andr é Fu designed opus Suites for the Park Plaza Hotel, and with the apartment designed by John heah (launched in 2017), the hotel now provides guests with a total of four iconic super suites. Guests staying in the above suites can also enjoy the 24-hour service of burkeli housekeeper to take care of guests' needs. The hotel also adds a special service element "signature service", such as the unique catering service created by the legendary Michelin two-star chef Marcus Waring. Guests can exclusively book the signature dishes managed by Marcus Waring. In addition, blue bar's top bartenders will carefully prepare cocktails, so that guests can enjoy private space and taste them in the suite. The design of the suite does not forget the elements of entertainment and hospitality. It is equipped with a dramatic Glass Pavilion - whether it is a private dinner on the terrace or a luxury cocktail party, the glass pavilion suite has upgraded the art of hospitality to a new level. The hotel has more carefully prepared Burberry classic windbreaker in the suite, so that guests can enjoy the charming scenery of London, rain or shine.

面积达3,200平方尺（约213平米）的Crescent Pavilion提供私人住宅体验，郁郁葱葱的英式花园环绕四周，缔造当代都市顶层公寓的观感。套房入口的木镶板走廊镶有精美金色铜绿织物，艺术家Agnes Martin的平版印刷图案点缀其中。宾客经过走廊时，便会看到坐拥圣保罗教堂迷人景致的客厅，设计适合举办小型私密的聚会。客厅的尽头是全面采用坚固Volakas白色大理石雕刻而成的弧形入口，预示着该套房最令人惊叹的设计特色 —— 面积达800平米尺（约74平米）的宽敞玻璃房。玻璃房的设计宛如充满当代气息的日光室，坐拥伦敦270度市内景观，而露台四周则布满时令英国鲜花及翠绿的造型林木。

Covering an area of 3200 square feet (about 213 square meters), the crescent Pavilion provides a private residential experience, surrounded by lush English gardens, creating the look and feel of contemporary urban top-level apartments. The wood paneled corridor at the entrance of the suite is inlaid with exquisite gold and bronze fabric, dotted with lithographic patterns by artist Agnes Martin. When guests pass through the corridor, they will see the living room with the charming scenery of St. Paul's church, which is designed for small private parties. At the end of the living room is an arc entrance fully carved in solid volakas white marble, indicating the most amazing design feature of the suite - a spacious glass room with an area of 800 square meters (about 74 square meters). The design of the glass room is like a daylight room full of contemporary flavor. It sits on the 270 degree urban landscape of London, and the terrace is surrounded by seasonal British flowers and green modeling trees.

玻璃亭区域内设有娱乐休闲区，毗邻露天休息室，还有可容纳8人的用餐空间。玻璃亭浸透André Fu的个人设计风格，可见于度身打造的六角形岩石玻璃吊灯、错综复杂的染色橡木隔板，以及采用石英岩水绿色大理石装饰的吧台。手工簇绒地毯选用薄荷绿色和矿物灰色，让人唤起此都市世外桃源的阳台景致，绿意盎然。客厅的宁静感延伸至主卧室，而第二间附套厕的卧室则选用暗淡的赛车绿、矿物灰和香槟金，令视野从室外花园贯通至套房室内。

There is an entertainment and leisure area in the glass pavilion area, adjacent to the open-air lounge, and a dining space that can accommodate 8 people. The glass pavilion is imbued with Andr é Fu's personal design style, which can be seen in customized hexagonal rock glass chandeliers, intricate stained oak partitions, and the bar decorated with quartzite Aqua marble. Handmade tufted carpet is made of mint green and mineral gray, which evokes the balcony scenery of this urban paradise, full of green. The tranquility of the living room extends to the master bedroom, while the second bedroom with toilet is made of dim Racing Green, mineral gray and champagne gold, so that the vision can be connected from the outdoor garden to the suite interior.

Grand Pavilion套房打造双卧室的隐世之所，为品味独到的宾客提供远离都市繁嚣的宁静之地。甫进走廊，即可见暖灰色亮漆英式嵌板和美轮美奂的翡翠绿丝绸装饰。宽敞的休息室建基于相连的石底座之上，宾客随即可以看到一个火炉置身其中，与石底座形成对比。毗邻的风景亦如雕塑般简洁纯净，呼应这种独特风格的低调平静。套房内设有可供多达8位宾客使用的用餐区域，毗邻室外露台使得自然光渗透其中。用餐区域饰以手工刺绣墙纸作背景，灰色、淡紫色和象牙色调的雨滴剪影点缀其中，互相呼应。雨滴剪影图案饶富节奏感，灵感源自已故法国室内设计师Jean-Michel Frank的作品。

The grand Pavilion suite creates a two bedroom seclusion, providing guests with unique taste with a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of the city. As soon as you enter the corridor, you can see the warm gray lacquer British panel and the beautiful emerald green silk decoration. The spacious lounge is built on a connected stone base, and guests can immediately see a stove in it, in contrast to the stone base. The adjacent scenery is also as simple and pure as sculpture, echoing the low-key calm of this unique style. The suite has a dining area for up to 8 guests, adjacent to the outdoor terrace, allowing natural light to penetrate. The dining area is decorated with hand embroidered wallpaper as the background, and the silhouettes of raindrops in gray, lavender and ivory tones echo each other. The raindrop silhouette pattern is rhythmic and inspired by the work of the late French Interior Designer Jean Michel Frank.

主客厅位于玻璃亭内，与用餐区域相连。酒店的外型传统而经典，而套房内则以连续的落地玻璃窗框架环绕四周，设计极具现代气息，宾客沉浸于经典与现代并存的氛围中。为了让此充满色彩的视觉旅程更显璀璨，André Fu选用灰色调的勃艮第酒红、暗色的祖母绿和矿石灰作为家具主色调，每一种都经专门设计，并透露出向现代主义致敬的意味。他还创作了少量古董黄铜吊坠灯饰，让人联想起伦敦极具代表性的街灯。同时，客厅内摆放了饶富装饰性的玻璃屏幕，屏幕饰以手工镀金且深度不一的香槟色金泪珠。鸡尾酒酒吧属开放式设计，毗邻花园露台，宾客必乐在其中，投入于令人愉悦的好客艺术之体验。

The main and guest hall is located in the glass pavilion and connected with the dining area. The appearance of the hotel is traditional and classic, while the suite is surrounded by continuous floor glass window frames. The design is very modern. Guests are immersed in the atmosphere of the coexistence of classic and modern. In order to make this colorful visual journey more brilliant, Andr é Fu selects gray burgundy red, dark emerald and mineral lime as the main colors of furniture, each of which has been specially designed and reveals the meaning of paying tribute to modernism. He also created a small number of antique brass pendant lights, reminiscent of London's most representative street lights. At the same time, a decorative glass screen is placed in the living room, which is decorated with champagne golden tears with manual gold plating and different depths. The cocktail bar is an open design, adjacent to the garden terrace, and guests must enjoy it and experience the pleasant art of hospitality.

玻璃亭的另一端是主卧室，配有三面落地玻璃和私人露台，让宾客于清晨醒来时即可饱览伦敦和邻近贝尔格莱维亚区（Belgravia）的景色。而主浴室则体现了André Fu轻松奢华的标志性风格——石雕雕塑背景前有一个独立式铸石浴缸，坚固的Baltic灰色大理石经雕刻成一系列如楼底高的「花瓣」，相互折叠，次序展开；Kallista的古董黄铜浴室装置亦进一步增强了这种触感的表现。走到入口走廊的另一端，便是附套厕的双卧室客房，让套房成为一家大小出游的理想之选。

At the other end of the glass pavilion is the master bedroom, which is equipped with three floor to ceiling glass and a private terrace, so that guests can enjoy the scenery of London and nearby Belgrade when they wake up in the morning. The master bathroom embodies Andr é Fu's relaxed and luxurious iconic style - there is a free-standing cast stone bathtub in front of the stone sculpture background, and the solid Baltic gray marble is carved into a series of "petals" as high as the floor, folded and unfolded in order; Kallista's Antique Brass Bathroom Fixtures further enhance this tactile performance. At the other end of the entrance corridor is the two bedroom room with toilet, which makes the suite an ideal choice for families to travel.
