过山车
该项目位于一所宁静的中学校园的活动广场之上。旨在为学校提供一个鲜明的可辨识的形象,重新定义现有公共空间。
Situated in a tranquil environment of one of the best vocational schools in Beijing, the project aims at providing an iconic image to the institution as well as redefining the use of an existing public space on the central square of the campus.
最开始客户的设想是在广场上安放一个纪念性的主题雕塑,并且已经为该雕塑搭建好了一个高台。然后通过分析,我们认为广场真正缺少的是一个有效的能让学生聚在一起交流的公共空间。学校真正需要的不是校园中心的纪念碑,而是一个集人文与功能为一体的集聚性空间,让学生休憩的同时还能举办一些校园活动。
At first, the customer's idea was to place a commemorative theme sculpture on the square, and a high platform had been built for the sculpture. Then through the analysis, we believe that what the square really lacks is an effective public space for students to get together and communicate. What the school really needs is not the monument in the campus center, but a gathering space integrating humanities and functions, so that students can hold some campus activities while resting.
因此,一个高效的公共空间的方案渐渐浮出水面。我们提出了一个连续弯折类似“过山车”的带状形象,通过三维折叠,创造了一系列与环境融合的空间,包括开放式的花园、阴影展馆和展览甬道等。整个建筑的弯曲形态,都最大限度地考虑了保留广场现有的树木以及利用现有树冠投射下的阴影,令建筑建成的伊始,就具有成熟的使用形态。
Therefore, an efficient public space scheme gradually surfaced. We propose a strip image with continuous bending similar to the "roller coaster". Through three-dimensional folding, we create a series of spaces integrated with the environment, including open gardens, shadow pavilions and Exhibition corridors. The curved shape of the whole building takes into account the preservation of the existing trees in the square and the use of the shadow cast by the existing tree crown to make the building have a mature use form from the beginning of construction.
过山车般的结构,为学校建立了一个有趣的形象,不仅辨识度很高,也非常受学生的欢迎。
The rollercoaster-like structure presents a highly recognizable identity to the school as well as a fun image that was widely welcomed by the students.
