“冰丝带”国家速滑馆，北京/建筑设计

The national speed skating hall, also known as "ice ribbon", with "ice" and "speed" as the design symbols, is the landmark venue of Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games and the only newly-built ice competition venue. It undertakes the competition and training of speed skating during the Winter Olympic Games. "Ice ribbon" has achieved innovation and breakthrough in many aspects, such as design concept, technical process, material selection, construction techniques, etc., forming a "China scheme" with various scientific and technological highlights for international reference.

国家速滑馆是在市重大办主持招标下首个实现政府与社会资本PPP模式合作的场馆。2018年2月，作为国家速滑馆项目政府出资人代表的北京国资公司与首开股份、城建集团、住总集团、华体集团等社会资本共同组建的国家速滑馆公司成立，开始建设国家速滑馆工程。国家速滑馆主馆建筑面积约8万平方米，地下2层，地上3层，设东、西两个地下停车库。赛时观众座席约12000个，赛后约8500个。

国家速滑馆198米长、124米宽的屋面索网结构工程是世界最大跨度的单层双向正交索网结构。速滑馆公司集各方之智，汇各方之力，仅用不到两年的时间，成功完成国内最大跨度的单层双向正交马鞍形屋面索网结构的张拉，填补了我国首个大吨位、大面积的超大跨度单层正交索网同步张拉技术空白。

The 198m long and 124m wide roof cable net structure of the national speed skating hall is the world's largest span single-layer bidirectional orthogonal cable net structure. With the wisdom and efforts of all parties, the speed skating hall company successfully completed the tensioning of the largest span single-layer two-way orthogonal saddle shaped roof cable net structure in China in less than two years, filling the gap in China's first large tonnage and large-area super large-span single-layer orthogonal cable net synchronous tensioning technology.

国家速滑馆钢结构包括劲性结构、钢环桁架、索网结构三部分，用钢量达1.4万吨，全部使用国产高钒密闭索，屋盖体系用钢量仅约为传统屋面的四分之一，达到国际领先水平，真正体现了“绿色办奥”理念。2019年，国家速滑馆荣获国内钢结构行业的最高奖项——“中国钢结构金奖年度杰出工程”。

The steel structure of the national speed skating hall consists of three parts: rigid structure, steel ring truss and cable net structure. The steel consumption reaches 14000 tons. All of them use domestic high vanadium closed cables. The steel consumption of the roof system is only about one quarter of that of the traditional roof, reaching the international leading level, and truly embodies the concept of "Green Olympics". In 2019, the national speed skating hall won the highest award in the domestic steel structure industry - "China steel structure Gold Award annual outstanding project".

国家速滑馆采用全冰面设计，1.2万平米的冰面创下亚洲之最。同时作为奥运史上的首创，采用二氧化碳跨临界直接蒸发制冷制冰系统，成为世界首个使用天然工质二氧化碳作为制冷剂的冬奥会速滑场馆。

The national speed skating hall is designed with full ice, with 12000 square meters of ice, the highest in Asia. At the same time, as the first in the history of the Olympic Games, the ice making system using carbon dioxide transcritical direct evaporation refrigeration has become the world's first Winter Olympic speed skating venue using natural working medium carbon dioxide as refrigerant.
