Located at the intersection of Wuhan Optics Valley High Tech Avenue and Huashan Avenue, the Museum covers an area of 190000 square meters, with a total construction area of 72000 square meters. The project mainly includes three parts: the science and Technology Museum, the ball screen cinema and the landscape bridge. The design of the main building of the science and Technology Museum takes "Optics Valley core and science and technology engine" as the starting point, and the external shape is reflected in a spiral and gradually changing streamline form, which is beautiful and dynamic.

湖北省科技馆新馆，工程项目设置有展厅、儿童科学乐园、特效影院、科学教室、科普报告厅、公共空间展示区等，将为观众提供多种多样的科普体验。

The new hall of Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Museum has exhibition hall, children's Science Park, special effect cinema, science classroom, science popularization lecture hall, public space exhibition area, etc., which will provide visitors with a variety of science popularization experiences.

目前省科技馆开放区域为：大厅、儿童科学乐园、数理世界展厅、科技瑰宝展厅、绿水青山展厅、院士专家成果展、机器人工作室。后期将逐步增加开放时间、参观人数和开放展厅。

At present, the open areas of the provincial science and Technology Museum are: hall, children's Science Park, mathematical world exhibition hall, science and technology treasure exhibition hall, green water and green mountains exhibition hall, academician and expert achievement exhibition, and robot studio. In the later stage, the opening hours, number of visitors and exhibition halls will be gradually increased.

作为国内最复杂的钢结构工程之一，湖北省科技馆新馆项目团队刻苦钻研，另辟蹊径，相继克服一道道技术难题。主体钢结构成功卸载后，科技馆新馆项目进入大规模外墙ACC挂板及幕墙安装阶段。

As one of the most complicated steel structure projects in China, the project team of the new hall of Hubei science and Technology Museum has worked hard to find new ways and overcome technical problems one after another. After the main steel structure was successfully unloaded, the new science and Technology Museum project entered the stage of large-scale external wall ACC hanging plate and curtain wall installation.

科技馆内容建设按照“探索创新、以人为本”的原则，以“科学·人文·自然”为主题，以人类探索科学的历程为主要脉络，彰显人与自然、科学与文化、精神世界与物质世界和谐统一的关系。
