法国VP建筑设计事务所承担设计工作的大连中国石油大厦作为大连市星海湾金融商务区建设的重点项目，建于大连市星海湾金融商务区XH-2-A地块内，为新建建设项目，使用性质为超高层现代化办公楼。

As a key project for the construction of Dalian Xinghai Bay Financial and Business District, Dalian China Petroleum Building, designed by French VP Architectural Design Office, was built in the plot XH-2-A of Dalian Xinghai Bay Financial and Business District. It is a new construction project and is a super high-rise modern office building.

建设基地选址于星海湾金融商务区核心区域，地形相对平坦，地理条件优越，位于城市主要交通干道中山路东侧，南临金融商务区二号路，北为金融商务区四号路，中国石油集团秉承其一直以来的商端品质，力求将中国石油大连大厦打造成首屈一指的现代化、智能化、高端甲级楼。

The construction base is located in the core area of Xinghai Bay Financial and Business District, with relatively flat terrain and superior geographical conditions. It is located on the east side of Zhongshan Road, the main traffic artery of the city, adjacent to No. 2 Road of the Financial and Business District in the south and No. 4 Road of the Financial and Business District in the north. PetroChina Group, adhering to its commercial quality, strives to build the PetroChina Dalian Building into a modern, intelligent and high-end Grade A building that is second to none.

本案总用地面积约9,300平主米，总建筑面积80,500平方米，其中，地下为19,524平方米，地上为60,967平方米。本建筑基底面积3,268平方米，主体建筑地上三十八层，地下四层；裙房为地上三层（局部四层），建筑主体高度（女儿墙）约为176.80米。

The base area of the building is 3268 square meters, and the main building has 38 floors above the ground and 4 floors underground; The podium has three floors above the ground (local four floors), and the main building height (parapet) is about 176.80 meters.

大连中石油大厦的外围环境优美，周边有宽阔的绿化场地，种植了很多花草树木，大厦的一侧有着宽阔的马路，交通亦很发达，特别是晚上加上灯光的照射，大厦景色优美、就好像一个巨大的水晶柱，使周围的景色更加美丽动人。整个中石油大厦外观构造，体现出整栋楼群是方正的，有裙房的链接，从易经方面来说，构成了天圆地方的造型，属于正规的建筑设计，而雄起的大厦采用了劲性柱的结构，是金属的框架构造而成，周边是幕墙的装饰，在加上周围有同样的高的建筑，在风水来说有着相互帮扶的意思，对整个大厦带来有利的发展渠道。

Especially at night, with the lighting, the building is beautiful, just like a huge water crystal column, making the surrounding scenery more beautiful and moving. The appearance and structure of the whole CNPC Building reflects that the whole building group is square and has the connection of podium. From the perspective of the Book of Changes, it forms the shape of the sky and the place, and belongs to the formal architectural design. The towering building adopts the structure of rigid columns, which is made of metal frames, and is surrounded by the decoration of curtain walls. In addition, there are buildings of the same height around it, which means helping each other in terms of feng shui, It will bring favorable development channels to the whole building.

另外不利的就是大厦外围的隔离带，像一个巨大铁网把整个大厦给牢牢网住，影响了整个大厦内所有人员的发展，没有发挥的余地，使得工作人员没有发展空间。根据整个大厦楼盘的设计和建筑的使用适合于酒店、商场、娱乐使用，可以是在内的人员找到一种刺激感，不适合居住、办公、休闲、或业务的交流，这样没有隐秘的环境下，造成了不利交流影响。
