工程概况：

龙门博物馆建于龙门石窟景区北入口处的青石广场西侧，距离石窟区本体较远。建筑面积9742平方米，地上二层，地下一层半，在规模和体量上尽量压缩，以减轻对景区景观的视觉影响。外观设计采用与龙门石窟山体一致的青石装饰，力求与龙门石窟协调一致。功能设施包括环境保护研究区、文物展示区和游客服务区。

Project Overview:

The Longmen Museum is located on the west side of Qingshi Square at the north entrance of the Longmen Grottoes Scenic Area, far from the main body of the grotto area. The building area is 9742 square meters, with two floors above ground and one and a half floors underground. The scale and volume should be minimized as much as possible to reduce the visual impact on the scenic area landscape. The exterior design adopts the same bluestone decoration as the Longmen Grottoes, striving to be coordinated and consistent with the Longmen Grottoes. The functional facilities include environmental protection research area, cultural relic exhibition area, and tourist service area.

龙门博物馆要将龙门的精神继承下来，并融进时代的特征，使其成为洛阳的新亮点，就要从空间与精神结合的切入点入手，创造出“形而上”的艺术空间，成为现实可视世界与佛教理想世界的过渡空间。使进入博物馆的每一个人都感受到龙门石窟背后的世界。佛教哲学的“空”与“圆融无碍”正是空间与精神的完美结合。

To inherit the spirit of Longmen and integrate it with the characteristics of the times, making it a new highlight of Luoyang, the Longmen Museum needs to start from the integration of space and spirit, create a "metaphysical" artistic space, and become a transitional space between the real visual world and the Buddhist ideal world. Make everyone entering the museum feel the world behind the Longmen Grottoes. The "emptiness" and "harmony without obstacles" in Buddhist philosophy are the perfect combination of space and spirit.

当我们越过建筑形式的束缚，看待龙门石窟空间的本质时，龙门是实体的石材与“性空”的佛教世界碰撞的产物。所以抓住龙门反建筑的“实”与佛教去除“实有”与“执著”的“空”相结合，就是龙门博物馆最终要表达的东西。

When we look at the essence of Longmen Grottoes beyond the constraints of architectural form, Longmen is a product of the collision between physical stone and the Buddhist world of "sexual emptiness". So the combination of grasping the "reality" of anti architecture in Longmen and removing the "emptiness" of "reality" and "persistence" in Buddhism is what the Longmen Museum ultimately aims to express.
