本项目位于北京市延庆区，为中型展览建筑，展厅等级为乙等，在世园会期间承担世界各国家、国际组织、国际高新技术展示和国际竞赛等。
This project is located in Yanqing District, Beijing, and is a medium-sized exhibition building with a Grade B exhibition hall. During the World Horticultural Exposition, it will undertake various countries, international organizations, international high-tech exhibitions, and international competitions around the world.
建设用地位于世园会园区围栏区中C地块，用地性质为展览用地。在“一心、两轴、三带”的规划结构下，位于世界园艺轴中部，紧邻中国馆和演艺中心，国际展园、中国展园环绕其间，西侧面向草坪剧场和湖区。
The construction land is located in Plot C of the fenced area of the World Horticultural Exposition Park, and the nature of the land is exhibition land. Under the planning structure of "one center, two axes, and three belts", it is located in the central part of the World Horticultural Axis, adjacent to the China Pavilion and Performing Arts Center, surrounded by international and Chinese exhibition gardens, and facing the lawn theater and lake area to the west.
国际馆总图布局是开放式的分散布局，花伞的四周边界与环境融合，人们可以从四面八方进入国际馆用地。基地东北侧、南侧设有2个机动车出入口。北侧机动车出入口为满足北侧展厅的货物运输要求及VIP乘车进入国际馆的需求，南侧机动车出入口为满足南侧单层展厅的货物运输要求。上述两个机动车出入口通过内部道路联系，满足功能及消防要求。
The overall layout of the International Pavilion is an open and decentralized layout, with the boundaries around the flower umbrella integrated with the environment, allowing people to enter the site of the International Pavilion from all directions. There are two motor vehicle entrances and exits on the northeast and south sides of the base. The north motor vehicle entrance and exit is designed to meet the cargo transportation requirements of the north exhibition hall and the need for VIPs to enter the international hall by car, while the south motor vehicle entrance and exit is designed to meet the cargo transportation requirements of the south single-story exhibition hall. The above two motor vehicle entrances and exits are connected through internal roads to meet functional and fire protection requirements.
国际馆所有展厅均设置在地上，包含4个展厅。其中，国际竞赛展厅位于基地南侧，为单层通高展厅，基地北侧设计为两个方型体量错动的双层展厅：首层为国家、地区展区，二层为国际组织展区和国际高新技术展区。
All exhibition halls of the International Pavilion are set up above ground, including 4 exhibition halls. Among them, the International Competition Exhibition Hall is located on the south side of the base, which is a single story high rise exhibition hall. The north side of the base is designed with two square sized double layered exhibition halls: the first floor is the national and regional exhibition area, and the second floor is the international organization exhibition area and the international high-tech exhibition area.
观众可以通过入口下沉广场进入位于地下层的登录厅，然后乘坐南侧自动扶梯到达首层国际竞赛展厅，再通过自动扶梯到达二层，通过连廊到达北侧二层展厅，参观完毕后乘自动扶梯至首层国家地区展厅，然后直接从首层进入室外广场，完成整个观展流线。首层的东北角设置了VIP出入口及门厅。北侧展厅的货物首先运至地下一层卸货场，进入库房，然后通过货运电梯运至首、二层各展厅。南侧展厅通过西侧室外卸货场运送展品。
Viewers can enter the login hall located on the basement through the entrance sunken square, then take the south escalator to reach the first floor of the international competition exhibition hall, then use the escalator to reach the second floor, and reach the north second floor exhibition hall through the corridor. After visiting, take the escalator to the first floor of the national and regional exhibition hall, and then directly enter the outdoor square from the first floor to complete the entire viewing flow. The northeast corner of the first floor is equipped with VIP entrances, exits, and foyer. The goods in the north exhibition hall are first transported to the unloading yard on the first underground floor, entering the warehouse, and then transported by freight elevators to the exhibition halls on the first and second floors. The exhibition hall on the south side transports exhibits through the outdoor unloading yard on the west side.
基地生态环境优美，考虑对环境最小干扰度和低姿态地与周围山水格局相融合，我们设计了一个以“花伞”为结构单元构件组成的平缓的不夸张的建筑造型——“花海”。建筑布局采用南北贯通的总图布局，建筑立面四个方向匀质，营造出相对模糊的建筑世界，既尊重大环境，又尊重周围小环境。考虑到大会会期是北京4月-10月的气候状况，花伞状顶棚像个巨大的城市遮阳伞，为人们提供一个舒适的驻足停留、休憩区域。
The ecological environment of the base is beautiful, considering the minimum interference to the environment and the integration of low posture with the surrounding landscape pattern, we have designed a flat and not exaggerated architectural design consisting of "flower umbrellas" as structural unit components - "Flower Sea". The architectural layout adopts a general layout that connects north and south, and the four directions of the building facade are uniform, creating a relatively fuzzy architectural world that respects both the major environment and the surrounding small environment. Considering the climate conditions of Beijing from April to October during the conference, the flower umbrella shaped ceiling resembles a huge urban sunshade, providing a comfortable resting and resting area for people.
