厦门国际会议中心俯瞰进入新世纪以来，我国基建和制造业突飞猛进，取得了巨大成就，为此世人还免费赠送了一顶“基建狂魔”的桂冠。

厦门国际会议中心为一类高层建筑，主要功能为会议及宴会建筑,会议功能较少.更无法达到国际峰会的功能使用及视觉感受的要求。改造从入口及落客前广场开始.梳理现有空间体系.在尊重原有结构及功能布局的基础上.巧妙的利用原有的结构体系，增设会议功能，梳理功能动线，以满足金砖峰会的使用要求。

The Xiamen International Conference Center is a type of high-rise building, mainly used as a conference and banquet building, with few conference functions and unable to meet the functional and visual requirements of international summits. The renovation starts from the entrance and drop-off plaza, sorting out the existing spatial system. On the basis of respecting the original structure and functional layout, cleverly utilizing the existing structural system, adding conference functions, and sorting out functional routes to meet the usage requirements of the BRICS Summit.

厦门国际会议中心远眺厦门国际会议中心是金砖国家领导人第九次会晤的主会场，其东侧的主入口处，建有名为“丹冠飞羽”的迎宾长廊，长廊设计融入了厦门市花凤凰花和厦门传统建筑山墙的元素，包含48樘“几”字形铜梁，造型独特，精致美观。这里是国际会议中心的门面，蓦然一见，会让人产生一种宾至如归的感觉。

The Xiamen International Conference Center is the main venue for the 9th BRICS Leaders' Meeting, with a welcoming corridor called "Danguan Feiyu" built at the main entrance to the east. The design of the corridor incorporates the elements of Xiamen City Flower Phoenix and Xiamen traditional architectural gable, including 48 "several" shaped copper beams, with a unique and exquisite appearance. This is the facade of the International Convention Center, and when you suddenly see it, you will feel at home.

金砖国家领导人厦门会晤主会议室厦门是一个滨海度假旅游城市，一个可以拥抱阳光、亲近大海的绝佳休闲之都。

The main conference room for the BRICS leaders' meeting in Xiamen is a coastal resort and tourist city, an excellent leisure city that can embrace the sunshine and get close to the sea.

国际会议中心及其附属空间濒临东海（直线距离只有一千多米），整体设计大气庄重，具有浓郁的海洋文化韵味，彰显了中国海纳百川的博大胸怀。

The International Convention Center and its affiliated spaces are adjacent to the East China Sea (with a straight distance of only over a thousand meters), and the overall design is grand and dignified, with a strong marine cultural charm, highlighting China's broad mindedness of embracing all rivers.
