The Xi'an Silk Road International Conference Center project is located in the core area of the Eurasian Economic Comprehensive Park in Chanba ecological area, west of convention and Exhibition Avenue and south of Xianghuai second road. The Convention Center, together with the International Exhibition Center on the west side, forms the Exhibition Center complex, which is the core project of trade and industrial development in Shaanxi Province. It will fill the market gap of large-scale professional conference center venues in Xi'an and Northwest China. Continue the historical context, carry the needs of the times, and create a new landmark of Xi'an along the new silk road.

建筑规模：总建筑面积207112平方米；其中：地上总建筑面积128369平方米，地下总建筑面积78743平方米。主体建筑地上三层（局部设置夹层）、地下二层。

建筑使用性质：本工程功能由会议、宴会功能为主，并设置有配套办公、停车场等功能。地上主体功能为一层宴会厅、二层大型多功能厅、三层主会议厅。三层层高分别为16m、16m、18.45m，建筑主体建筑高度为51.05m，为一类高层民用建筑。

Nature of building use: the functions of the project are mainly conference and banquet functions, and supporting office, parking lot and other functions are set. The main functions on the ground are banquet hall on the first floor, large multi-function hall on the second floor and main conference hall on the third floor. The height of the three floors is 16m, 16m and 18.45m respectively, and the height of the main building is 51.05m, which is a kind of high-rise civil building.

The design attempts to grasp the charm of Chinese classical architecture, and inherit the relationship between pattern and volume in design techniques; Innovative expression of roof and column.

●方正对称的格局

以正方形为体量，辅以1：4高宽比的立面，形成宏伟大气庄重的场所感。会议中心的平面也同样沿用了方正严整的布局思想。

Taking the square as the volume, supplemented by the facade with a height to width ratio of 1:4, it forms a magnificent and solemn sense of place. The plane of the conference center also follows the layout idea of squareness and integrity.

●虚实有致的体量

通过上下白色“月牙”和“月牙”间的大玻璃幕墙形成有致的虚实对比，下“月牙”底部为内凹的首层全玻璃幕墙，在创造出建筑特有漂浮感的同时，形成开放友好的入口空间。当夜幕降临时，上下月牙将被点亮，形成夜幕下的标志景观，而南侧通透的大玻璃幕墙，室内灯光外透，呈现出一个高耸宏大的高规格会议入口大厅。

● volume with virtual reality

Through the large glass curtain wall between the upper and lower white "Crescent" and the "Crescent", there is a contrast between the virtual and the real. The bottom of the lower "Crescent" is the concave first floor full glass curtain wall, which creates the unique floating feeling of the building and forms an open and friendly entrance space. When night falls, the upper and lower crescent moons will be lit to form a sign landscape under the night, while the large transparent glass curtain wall on the south side, with indoor and outdoor lights, presents a towering and grand high-specification conference entrance hall.

会议中心在避免做传统大屋面的同时，创新性的通过立面内凹处理，使得上“月牙”形成宽大，弯曲变化的“新屋面”景致；而下“月牙”在外部形成出挑的入口灰空间，在内部通过延伸进室内的部分形成室内公共玄关。上下“月牙”简明舒展的造型，展示出古典优雅的建筑气质。

While avoiding the traditional large roof, the conference center innovatively adopts the concave treatment of the facade, so that the upper "Crescent" forms a wide, curved and changing "new roof" scene; The lower "Crescent" forms an overhanging entrance gray space on the outside, and forms an indoor public porch through the part extending into the interior. The concise and stretched shape of the upper and lower "Crescent" shows the classical and elegant architectural temperament.

理性规整的柱式是古代木构架建筑的结构体系。

会议中心选用了核心筒+桁架的悬挂结构体系，使得室内形成全无柱空间，满足会议使用功能的同时，也创造了特有的无柱空间体验。在外部，通过屋顶桁架悬挂下来的180 根钢柱，和上下“月牙”以线与面的方式呼应，体现出传统重要建筑的秩序感、庄重感。同时，因结构创新而得的超纤细，柱高为30-45米，直径只有0.6米的180根白色钢柱，更是赋予了建筑优雅的气质及精致的细节。

The hanging structure system of core tube + truss is selected in the conference center, which makes the room form a column free space, which not only meets the use function of the conference, but also creates a unique column free space experience. On the outside, 180 steel columns suspended from the roof truss echo with the upper and lower "Crescent" in the form of line and surface, reflecting the sense of order and solemnity of traditional important buildings. At the same time, due to structural innovation, 180 white steel columns with a column height of 30-45 meters and a diameter of only 0.6 meters give the building elegant temperament and exquisite details.

会议中心设计是建筑纯净性与复杂性的对话。以大开大合且高效、有序的空间组织手法，营造出既满足会议中心复杂的功能、流线需求，又极具纯净性的宏大空间。从而成为一座现代、大气、典雅的会议中心，以映衬一座新时代下，具有十三朝古都底蕴的，现代化国际化的大都市——西安。

●平面功能组织

大型会议中心以大空间会议厅为核心功能空间，本项目特殊在于在一个单体中有三个级别等同的核心大空间，分别为：宴会厅、大型多功能厅和主会议厅。每个厅净面积均为4500㎡，分别能满足2500人宴会、3000人报告和3000人会议。结合会议中心的建筑体量和方正布局，将三个大厅空间布置在建筑的中心，分层叠合。一层设置宴会厅、二层为大型多功能厅，三层为主会议厅，层高分别为16m、16m、18.45m。

The special feature of this project is that there are three core large spaces with the same level in a single building, namely, the banquet hall, the large multi-function hall and the main conference hall. 南入口为会议中心主入口中庭，净高48.5m，靠中庭一侧为各层主厅的前厅。接续前厅对称布置宽18m的休息廊环绕主厅，作为平面交通串联空间和会议休憩空间。贴合的休息廊，对称布置4个中型会议厅，每个会议厅600~700㎡。在最外侧贴临幕墙布置后勤廊道。

The south entrance is the atrium of the main entrance of the conference center, with a clear height of 48.5m. The side near the atrium is the lobby of the main hall on each floor. Connecting the front hall, the 18m wide lounge is symmetrically arranged around the main hall as a plane traffic series space and a conference rest space. The fitting lounge is symmetrically arranged with four medium-sized conference halls, each of which is 600-700 m2. The logistics corridor is arranged on the outermost side next to the curtain wall.

●会议流线组织

南侧为会议主入口，与会人员可通过中庭处的自动扶梯上达到二层多功能厅、三层主会议厅；也可通过中庭两侧的垂直电梯厅通达各层。在建筑的东北、西北侧设置有次入口，并设置自动扶梯，与会人员也可通过次入口的扶梯上至各层平面。围绕各层主厅作为核心空间，通过“U”型前厅+休息廊，贯通组织中型会议厅和垂直交通厅。形成完整拓扑关系，空间纯净、连续，同时又使得各部分功能既独立又有机联系在一起。

● conference streamline organization

The south side is the main entrance of the conference, and participants can reach the multi-function hall on the second floor and the main conference hall on the third floor through the escalator in the atrium; Each floor can also be reached through the vertical elevator halls on both sides of the atrium. There are secondary entrances and escalators on the northeast and northwest sides of the building. Participants can also go up to each floor level through the escalators at the secondary entrances. Around the main hall on each floor as the core space, through the "U" shaped lobby + lounge, through the organization of medium-sized conference hall and vertical transportation hall. A complete topological relationship is formed, and the space is pure and continuous. At the same time, the functions of each part are independent and organically connected.

VIP和VVIP分别从东侧、西侧进入，进入之后就是直通二、三层的电梯厅，通过休息厅达到北侧的VIP、VVIP休息室。贵宾人员可在休息室稍作休息后参加会议等活动。

VIP and VVIP enter from the East and west side respectively, and then go directly to the elevator hall on the second and third floors, and reach the VIP and VVIP lounge on the north side through the lounge. VIP staff can take a rest in the lounge and participate in meetings and other activities.

●配套功能组织

在每层主楼层标高+8m标高设置夹层，主要功能为配套机房，其中2夹层北侧为配套办公。在各楼层北侧3跨为配套厨房及机房、储藏等功能。
