The project is the reconstruction of the lost and found furniture store in Guozijian street, Beijing. The transformation hopes to break through the space mode of traditional stores and introduce the concept of "home" ̶̶ In modern cities, more and more people choose to live alone. The concept of home is gradually separated from each family and spread to the public space of the city. In this context, urban commercial space is gradually becoming another home for urban residents. This transformation hopes to create a public "home" for people in the Hutong, awaken people's initial memory of home and vision of future life, and connect people and the symbiosis between people and the surroundings of the Hutong.

The transformation basically retains the wooden structure beams and columns of traditional Beijing Hutong buildings, and makes the addition of attics. The indoor courtyard at the entrance is the center of the whole spatial layout, and other functional areas are distributed around the courtyard. It is divided into the basic space of different homes such as restaurant, living room, study and bedroom, forming a zigzag layout, which is the same as the layout of traditional quadrangles. In terms of material selection, floors, walls, ceilings, furniture, etc. all use simple natural materials, which are faithful to the natural and real texture of the materials, minimize manual modification and processing, and bring people a rough and warm feeling. The appearance of home was originally presented in the alley, which also echoes the brand spirit of returning to the origin and life advocated by lost and found.
