西安万科东方传奇位于西安市极具文化底蕴的曲江新区，在满足景观功能的基础上完成文化特征的带入成为本案的重要课题。设计方案探讨了现代中式的一种可能性，以唐代诗人王维的两首脍炙人口的诗句作为概念展开了设计。“行到水穷处、坐看云起时”为广场区的概念，根据场地形态和竖向特征，方案设计了“镜池”、“拱泉”、“平山”、“对影”、“流云”及“陛道”几个各具特征的节点；“明月松间照、清泉石上流”为内街的概念，方案以一系列水景串联起了“石溪”、“双瀑”、“莲池”、“曲溪”、及“清潭”几个节点。方案还引入了大量不同种类的大中型乔木以及观赏草类，在营造亲切自然的氛围的同时，还与几处水景一起形成了舒适的小气候。

Xi'an Vanke Oriental Legend is located at the well-known Qujiang New District which is rich of cultural heritages. The project is composed of an entry plaza & a commercial street. The major challenge of this project is to design a well-functional landscape with unique cultural elements. The design proposal tries to explore a modern way of Chinese styled landscape. The concept is inspired by two poems written by the famous Chinese poet Wang Wei from Tang dynasty that praise the nature beauty. The design introduces a mirror pool, a series of spray jets, a waving landform, a cloud-like stone sculpture and a cherry allee into the entry plaza that coordinate with the different heights of the site. In the commercial street area, 5 small water features are integrated gracefully into the street that make the walking experience more comfortable. In addition, various kinds of canopy trees and ornamental plants are placed on the site to provide pleasant micro-climate.
