李氏披萨（LEE’S PIZZA）是已经在沈阳经营多年的一家专注芝加哥深盘披萨的餐厅，本次委托白菜为其做老店升级改造，在旧址翻新，希望能够打造延续品牌概念、并且强化突出产品的经营场所。

Lee’s Pizza is a long-established Shenyang restaurant specializing in Chicago deep-dish pizza. Baicai was commissioned to renovate its original location, aiming to refresh the space while reinforcing the brand concept and highlighting the product.

芝加哥深盘披萨（Chicago deep-dish pizza）起源于20世纪40年代的芝加哥，是一种具有浓厚地域特色的美式披萨类型。它突破了传统意式披萨的轻薄形态，采用厚实如派的饼皮，高高的边缘包裹着丰富的奶酪、肉类与蔬菜，再铺上一层浓郁番茄酱，层次分明、热量十足，正好契合当时工业城市对饱腹感的需求。

Chicago deep-dish pizza originated in the 1940s and is a regional American style known for its rich, layered form. Unlike thin-crust Italian pizza, it features a thick, pie-like crust with tall edges, filled with cheese, meat, and vegetables, topped with a hearty tomato sauce—designed to satisfy the appetites of an industrial city.

我们提炼了“厚”作为空间的意符来进行设计，希望空间能够在材料上让人感受到这种厚感，同时提炼了芝加哥这个城市在深盘披萨起源时期的特质，将工业时代的气息与元素，融入在空间的设计中。

We used “thickness” as the core spatial concept, expressing it through materials. Inspired by Chicago’s industrial character in the era of deep-dish pizza’s origin, we wove industrial elements into the design.

砖与钢铁，是芝加哥抹不去的符号，在门头的设计中我们运用了这两种材质。随着金属的开合，呈现不同的状态，墙面的涂鸦渲染美式氛围，打造互动属性的装置。

Brick and steel—iconic to Chicago—shape the storefront design. Movable metal panels shift the facade, while graffiti on the wall adds an American vibe and creates an interactive feature.

在翻新的过程中，设计在材质、配色与机理的选择上相呼应，在艺术漆、做旧天花、钢结构和手工砖之间寻找质感的平衡。我们希望空间具备有厚度、包裹感的舒适，同时也有硬朗的工业属性。

The renovation balances materials, colors, and textures—blending artistic paint, aged ceilings, steel, and handmade brick. The result is a space that feels both industrial and comfortably enveloping.

我们希望空间与消费者是坦诚的状态，开放式的厨房让顾客能够看到厨师的操作，通过可旋转开放的玻璃与菜品信息的结合，打造更加丰富的空间边界。

We aimed for an honest space—an open kitchen reveals the cooking process, while rotating glass panels paired with menu info create a dynamic, layered boundary.

空间呈现是产品的延伸，以及经营者对待产品的态度。我们希望LEE’S PIZZA能够以更加丰富饱满的状态面对过去和未来的消费者们。

The space is an extension of the product and a reflection of the owner’s attitude toward it. We hope LEE’S PIZZA can engage both past and future customers with renewed depth and richness.
