项目简介：上海城市在时间中的沉淀带给我们的思考，使得我们在这个项目的设计中，用“TIME OUT“和”TIME LAYER“把历史的和创新的，把积累的和新建的如此有趣地结合起来，带给参观者的将不仅仅是怀旧或惊叹。
Project introduction: the precipitation of Shanghai City in time brings us thinking, which makes us use "time out" and "time layer" in the design of this project to combine historical and innovative, accumulated and newly-built so interestingly that visitors will not only be nostalgic or amazed.
2010年上海世博会的规划不断调整、细化，上海世博局高层近日透露了最新版本的规划图，上海世博会在办展理念上有三大转变：从“产品展览”到“综合展示”；从“远程猎奇”到“多元交流”；从“技术至上”到“理念创新”。
The planning of the 2010 Shanghai WorldExpo has been constantly adjusted and refined. The senior management of the Shanghai WorldExpo Bureau recently revealed the latest version of the planning map. 在黄浦江西岸将塑造高低起伏的“滨江绿坡”，做足“绿”文章，形成自然、生态的滨江景观，一些精美、别致的大型城市雕塑也将在绿地中崛起。
On the West Bank of the Huangpu River, the ups and downs of the "riverside green slope" will be shaped, and enough "green" articles will be made to form a natural and ecological riverside landscape. Some exquisite and unique large-scale urban sculptures will also rise in the green space.
作为市级文物或优秀历史建筑，世博会规划区域中的三山会馆、原求新造船厂厂部办公楼、红楼、江南造船厂内的翻译馆和将军楼等2万平方米建筑将全部予以保护和保留，有些将改建成为世界博物馆，或者新建的企业馆。
As municipal cultural relics or excellent historical buildings, 20000 square meters of buildings in the planning area of the WorldExpo, such as the Sanshan guild hall, the office building of the former Qiuxin shipyard, the red building, the translation hall and the general building of Jiangnan Shipyard, will be protected and preserved, and some will be transformed into world museums or new enterprise pavilions.
世博会的后续利用也有了通盘考虑，公共活动中心和演艺中心沿江布置，与滨江绿地共同形成黄浦江沿岸景观亮点和大型滨江公共空间。世博会后，公共活动中心将成为国际会议中心，演艺中心将成为旅游和演出场所。中国馆和主题馆靠近浦东主入口，位于世博轴两侧，会后与会议中心共同组成国际会展中心。
The follow-up utilization of the WorldExpo has also been comprehensively considered. The public activity center and performance center are arranged along the river, and together with the riverside green space, they form the landscape highlights along the Huangpu River and large riverside public space. After the Expo, the public activity center will become an international conference center, and the Performing Arts Center will become a place for tourism and performance. The China Pavilion and theme pavilion are close to the main entrance of Pudong and located on both sides of the Expo Axis. After the Expo, they form an international convention and Exhibition Center together with the conference center.
