Located in Pflugerville, Texas, the 33,000-square-foot building combines indoor recreation, wellness, and social interaction within a simple yet refined architectural form.

The program includes expansive bouldering terrain, 55-foot international-standard competition walls, a dedicated kids’ climbing zone, yoga and fitness studios, free weights, retail, and lounge areas. At the center of the site, a landscaped courtyard anchored by a coffee shop creates a social heart, offering pedestrian-scaled space often absent in suburban contexts and strengthening the building’s role as a community destination.

The distinctive geometry of the building emerged directly from zoning limits and athletic requirements, leading to innovative structural solutions that balance precision and efficiency. A steel superstructure clad in MetlSpan Insulated Metal Panels gives the exterior both performance and clarity, with material choices recalling the pragmatic metal-clad buildings of rural Texas.
