三联书店坐落于繁昌·北站1969文化街区内，在设计之初，设计师许建国希望点状激活与复兴场地及周边城市空间，在文化街区的公共功能空间中，打造容纳不限于阅读品鉴、文化书店、艺术沙龙等多功能区，且彼此之间能够联动，创造一种精致的人文温暖，传达情感和故事的场域。在近年城市化过程中老北站的存在显得更加的苍白，渐渐成为了被城市文明遗忘的角落。繁昌老北站项目更新像是给繁昌这座城市带来了新的希望与传承，如何在保有场地特质的前提下，将历史记忆与当代人文巷结合？为回应这个场所承载的独特性，经过设计师反复推演，三联书店的打造在原老建筑的基底上进行重建，与街区中心广场相互衔接，将室内空间进一步转化为复合空间，提供一种能够与周边环境持续对话的通感体验。在岁月的工业历史的底色上，达成一场跨越时空的对话——三联书店是设计艺术精神及审美的延伸，同时作为文化商业场所，具备吸引人流实现转化的能力。

SanLian Bookstore is located in Fanchang · North Station 1969 Cultural Block. At the initial design stage, designer Xu Jianguo intended to activate and revitalize the site and surrounding urban space in a dotted manner. Within the public functional space of the cultural block, he planned to create a multi-functional area that includes reading appreciation, cultural bookstore, art salon and other functions, with spaces interconnected to form a delicate, humanistic and warm place that conveys emotions and stories. In recent years of urbanization, the old North Station has become increasingly desolate, gradually turning into a corner forgotten by urban civilization. The renewal of the Fanchang Old North Station project has brought new hope and inheritance to the city of Fanchang. How to integrate historical memory with contemporary humanistic alleys while preserving the unique characteristics of the site? In response to the uniqueness of this place, after repeated design iterations, SanLian Bookstore was rebuilt on the base of the original old building and connected with the central square of the block. The interior space was further transformed into a composite space, providing a synesthetic experience that continuously communicates with the surrounding environment. Against the background of decades of industrial history, a cross-time dialogue has been realized — SanLian Bookstore is an extension of the spirit and aesthetics of design art. Meanwhile, as a cultural and commercial venue, it has the ability to attract visitors and achieve commercial transformation.

外部空间Exterior Space

以清水混凝土的纯粹质感，构建出一个沉静、专注的精神场域。从外部视角来看，这座书店建筑是一个由混凝土与透明玻璃构成的矛盾而和谐的整体。它以一种克制的姿态介入城市，同时又通过通透的界面与城市深度对话。材质的选择交织在三条物质性线索中：在硬质性与半透明性间不断衔接的建筑结构，诠释了一种当代文化原生性；纯粹相接的清水混凝土呼应了场地的历史特质；各场域营造的玻璃窗洞及金属装饰型材则将空间容器的内部事件展现给公众。这些通高的玻璃面如同被精心切割的“取景框”，将室内的阅读场景毫无保留地展示给城市。全场域玻璃的使用不仅是满足采光需求，更是一种空间态度的表达。它消解了建筑的实体边界，使书店从一个“内向”的盒子，转变为一个“外向”的舞台，让阅读行为本身成为城市生活的一部分。

With the pure texture of fair-faced concrete, a calm and focused spiritual field is constructed. From an external perspective, the bookstore building is a contradictory yet harmonious whole composed of concrete and transparent glass. It intervenes in the city with a restrained attitude, while conducting in-depth dialogue with the city through its transparent interface. The selection of materials is interwoven along three material clues: the architectural structure that continuously connects between hardness and translucency interprets the originality of contemporary culture; the neatly connected fair-faced concrete echoes the historical characteristics of the site; the glass openings and metal decorative profiles in each space show the internal activities of the space container to the public. These floor-to-ceiling glass surfaces are like carefully cut “viewfinders”, presenting the indoor reading scenes to the city without reservation. The use of full-field glass is not only to meet lighting needs, but also an expression of spatial attitude. It dissolves the physical boundary of the building, turning the bookstore from an “introverted” box into an “extroverted” stage, making reading itself a part of urban life.

在繁昌老北站历史文化沉积的基础上，设计将建筑形体通透化，以几何形态化身为繁昌北站的取景框，框住历史与城市之美。在人文关怀和可持续建造相结合并贯穿始终，利用穹顶建筑屋面设计了条形天窗，增强了室内采光和通风的条件，从而减少能源消耗，已达到可持续发展设计的需求。随处可达的露台空间形成建筑与户外环境对话的窗口，不同的造型结构相交而形成的多杨空间，通过“街道”与广场的边缘予以空间定义，访客在其中不仅能感受到空间的变化，更能为城市场域带来持续的创造性活力。

Based on the historical and cultural accumulation of Fanchang Old North Station, the design makes the architectural form transparent. The geometric shape acts as a viewfinder of Fanchang North Station, framing the beauty of history and the city. Humanistic care and sustainable construction are integrated throughout the project. Strip skylights are designed on the domed roof to enhance indoor lighting and ventilation, thereby reducing energy consumption and meeting the requirements of sustainable development. The easily accessible terrace spaces form windows for the building to communicate with the outdoor environment. The diverse spaces formed by the intersection of different structural shapes are defined by the edges of “streets” and squares. Visitors can not only feel the changes of space, but also bring continuous creative vitality to the urban field.

三联书店内部的设计营造了一种舒适且包容的磁场。这里不是书籍的仓库，而是一个引导读者探索、停留并最终与书籍产生深刻联结的场所。保留空间中裸露的混凝土梁柱、钢结构框架作为陈设的基底骨架，与书架、展柜的金属框架形成材质呼应，延续车站的工业属性，同时以混凝土的粗粝肌理营造出沉稳的空间气质，结合具有现代感和坚固性的金属材质，增强空间的层次感，成为传达场所情感的 “媒介”。

The interior design of SanLian Bookstore creates a comfortable and inclusive atmosphere. It is not a warehouse for books, but a place that guides readers to explore, stay and finally form a deep connection with books. The exposed concrete beams, columns and steel structure frames retained in the space serve as the base skeleton for furnishings, echoing the metal frames of bookshelves and display cabinets and continuing the industrial attributes of the station. At the same time, the rough texture of concrete creates a calm spatial temperament. Combined with modern and solid metal materials, it enhances the spatial hierarchy and becomes a “medium” to convey the emotions of the place.

微城市空间的精神注入Spiritual Injection of Micro-Urban Space

整个区域由阅读区、休闲区、展览区、接待区、观景区等多功能空间组成，这样的空间组织不仅能最大程度容纳多场景的室内-室外活动内容，也让室内外空间相互参透融合，满足不同人群的社交需求，成为一个持续不断向城市散发活力的“共生文化地”。基于采光要求，设计中在混凝土拱上开了线行天窗，室内光影因此随时间变化而斑驳、交错、重叠。回眸间，阅读、空间和光线的感动交织在一起，文化空间获得了精神的重塑，这或许正是品牌追求精神崇高之美的建筑外化。

The entire area consists of multi-functional spaces such as reading area, leisure area, exhibition area, reception area and viewing area. Such spatial organization can not only maximize the accommodation of diverse indoor and outdoor activities, but also allow the indoor and outdoor spaces to penetrate and integrate with each other, meeting the social needs of different groups, and becoming a “symbiotic cultural land” that continuously exudes vitality to the city. For lighting requirements, linear skylights are opened on the concrete arches, so that the indoor light and shadow are mottled, interlaced and overlapped with the change of time. In a glance, the touching feelings of reading, space and light are intertwined, and the cultural space is spiritually reshaped. This is perhaps the architectural externalization of the brand’s pursuit of spiritual sublime beauty.

动线分流，多场景的自然表达

Circulation Diversion, Natural Expression of Multi-Scenarios

城市公共建筑的真实而生动的多样性场景，不仅能够快速展现出城市的可识别度，而且还贴近市民真实的生活需求，从而营造出多样化的场景，使其成为城市活力的源泉。三联书店一层空间是展示书店与城市印象的第一界面，由中部构成环形动线，达到快速分流，行动中经过咖啡服务吧、书籍桌、休闲区，全面展示多元化融合空间，透过玻璃与街区环境形成对景关系。

The real and vivid diverse scenes of urban public buildings can not only quickly show the city’s recognizability, but also meet the real living needs of citizens, thus creating diverse scenes and making them the source of urban vitality. The first floor of SanLlian Bookstore is the first interface to display the bookstore and urban impression. A circular circulation is formed in the middle to achieve rapid diversion. Walking through the coffee service bar, book tables and leisure area, it fully displays the diversified integrated space, forming an opposite view with the block environment through the glass.

由中庭楼梯而上到达二层阅读区，弧形穹顶映入眼帘，随着光线的引导沿中庭的阅读区进入活动沙龙，构成二层的休闲空间；为呈现空间的完整性，激发访客对空间的探索兴趣，在建筑结构的基础上，设计师利用户外露台增加观景动线，将书店文化空间（阅览空间）和精神空间相结合，超越单一的功能性，使建筑突破物理局限，成为街区事件的动态载体。

Going up the atrium stairs to the second-floor reading area, the curved dome comes into view. Guided by light, entering the activity salon along the reading area of the atrium forms the leisure space on the second floor. To present the integrity of the space and stimulate visitors’ interest in exploring the space, on the basis of the architectural structure, the designer uses outdoor terraces to add viewing circulation, combining the bookstore’s cultural space (reading space) with the spiritual space. It transcends a single function, enabling the building to break through physical limitations and become a dynamic carrier of block events.
