泰安金融商务区作为泰安时代发展线上的南大门和收官之作，定位为金融中心、政务服务中心，是泰安市重点招商引资及重点建设项目。项目总占地面积 380 亩，总建筑面积 82 万平米。商业一期建筑面积 32 万平米，规划建设包括"市民之家"，以及一栋建筑造型寓意"双手合十、礼拜泰山"的 153 米超高层双子塔楼。
