“With the tide calm and the wind fair, the sail is set.” By the East Lake in Wuhan, along the Yangtze River, the Hubei United Investment Technology Industrial Building stands like a grand sailboat, poised between water and sky. The building stands tall in the vast expanse, its sail filled with wind, heading towards the future. It carries the city’s ambitions while reflecting the beauty of nature. The photovoltaic glass curtain wall on the tower’s facade resembles a series of crystalline wings, shining under the sun. It draws energy from the heavens while protecting the land’s green dream. This building is a marvel of technology and a tribute to nature, embodying the harmony between humanity and the environment. Hubei United Investment Technology Industrial Building, shaped like a sail with light as its soul, writes the future of the city in this vast, open space.

01 城市与建筑的共生：一场优雅的对话The Symbiosis of City and Architecture: An Elegant Dialogue

项目坐落于武汉华中金融城的核心地段，沿中北路城市界面，是该地区城市设计导则中的重点塑造的城市天际线。毗邻东湖和沙湖两大风景区，地理位置得天独厚。这里不仅是武汉金融产业的重要集聚区，更是城市生态与人文景观的交汇点。作为省属国资国企的代表，总部大厦的设计既要满足城市设计的审美要求，也要符合湖北联投对总部形象庄重大气且独具特色的要求。

Located in the core area of Wuhan’s Financial district, along Zhongbei Road, the building is key to shaping the city’s skyline. Neighboring East Lake and Sha Lake, the location is ideal. This area is a vital hub for Wuhan’s financial industry, and also a point where the city’s ecology and cultural landscapes converge. As a representative of the province’s state-owned enterprises, the headquarters building’s design must meet both the city’s aesthetic guidelines and Hubei United Investment’s desire for a dignified, distinctive corporate image.

项目总建筑面积约6.89万平方米，建筑高度达158米，由地上30层、地下3层及2层裙楼组成。我们以“船帆”为灵感，寓意湖北联投在新起点上扬帆起航、争流而上，展现了企业勇于创新、追求卓越的精神风貌。这座建筑是一面旗帜，象征着湖北联投在新时代的浪潮中，乘风破浪，勇往直前。在塔楼的设计中，WOWA强调空间与使用的舒适度，并采用了体块相互咬合的方式，增加了转角办公室数量和采光面积，塔楼前后体块的位置交错，同时也使得整体形态更加高挑挺拔，展现出丰富的层次感和表现力。

The building has a total floor area of about 68,900 square meters and reaches a height of 158 meters. It consists of 30 floors above ground, 3 underground levels, and 2-story podiums. The design, inspired by a “sail,” symbolizes Hubei United Investment’s new journey, showcasing the company’s spirit of innovation and pursuit of excellence. The building stands as a flag, representing Hubei United Investment’s strength as it moves forward with the times. In the tower design, WOWA emphasized comfort in space and use, adopting an interlocking block design to increase corner offices and natural lighting. The staggered placement of the tower’s front and rear blocks enhances its vertical elegance, creating a richer sense of layers and expression.

在内部功能布局方面，WOWA关注建筑与用户的关系，适量的增加室内公共空间及员工配套设施等，促进员工的互动与交流，整体设计不仅仅是为了满足日常办公的需求，更是着眼于提供舒适、健康的人文关怀，让每一位员工都能感受到家的温暖与企业为民服务的目的，工作不再是单调的任务，而是一种享受与成长。

Internally, WOWA focused on the relationship between the building and its users, adding communal spaces and employee facilities to encourage interaction and communication. The design aims not only to meet daily office needs but also to provide a comfortable, healthy environment where employees feel at home. Work becomes not a task, but a journey of enjoyment and growth.

在设计裙楼主要建筑入口立面时，为使每一位到访者感受到独特的到达体验，我们采用了大块的超白玻和夹丝玻璃混搭，外观层次分明，质感丰富，尺度宜人，也与塔楼形成了和谐统一的整体风格。在设计员工入口侧的裙楼立面时，我们以竖向夹丝玻璃杆件为主，对裙楼的大体量进行视觉切分，营造出一种精致而通透的视觉效果。玻璃杆件排列整齐，线条流畅，既展现了现代建筑的简约之美，又能赋予立面独特的层次感与立体感。迎宾大堂的设计尤为引人注目，挑高的空间和石材分割的墙面彰显出优雅大气的质感，无论是企业高管还是来访宾客，都能在这里感受到联投企业的实力与品位，仿佛置身于一座艺术的殿堂，感受着建筑与人文的完美融合。

The main entrance façade of the podium uses large blocks of low iron glass mixed with lamination to create a visually striking and harmonious style with the tower. The employee entrance at the back uses vertical metal wire laminated glass fins to visually break up the mass of the podium, creating a refined, transparent effect. The lobby design is particularly striking, with its high ceilings and stone-clad walls exuding an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere. Whether it’s company executives or visiting guests, everyone who enters feels the strength and taste of Hubei United Investment as if stepping into a hall of art, experiencing the perfect blend of architecture and culture.

02 绿色与光影交织成诗：一场自然的礼赞Green and Light Intertwined: A Natural Tribute

项目定位为“绿色、智慧、科技、人文”企业总部办公大楼，严格按照《绿色建筑评价标准（GB/T50378-2019）》设计。幕墙围护结构是建筑节能的重要组成部分，通过建筑节能计算，确定外围护玻璃幕墙系统的传热系数≤1.6W/(㎡·K)，太阳能得热系数≤0.235W/(㎡·K)。我们在幕墙选型时采用了10+12Ar+10+12Ar+10mm双银Low-E钢化双中空玻璃，这种玻璃及幕墙系统具有优异的隔热和隔音性能，能够有效降低建筑的空调能耗15.07%。

The project is positioned as a “green, intelligent, high tech, and cultural” corporate headquarters building, designed in strict accordance with the Green Building Evaluation Standards (GB/T50378-2019). The curtain wall system is a key element in the building’s energy efficiency. Our CW system is designed with a heat transfer coefficient ≤1.6 W/(㎡·K) and a solar heat gain coefficient ≤0.235 W/(㎡·K).

此外，幕墙还设计了“发电翅”和“通风翼”。塔楼的南立面、东立面利用有利朝向采用了折型单元式可发电的玻璃幕墙，透明部分玻璃幕墙兼具自然采光。折型单元板块转角处设置飞翼构建，末端选用遮挡影响较小、弱光发电性能高的碲化镉薄膜光伏组件（“发电翅”），能够将太阳能转化为电能，年发电量约为30.67万KWh，为建筑提供清洁能源并节省年电费20余万元。

Additionally, the curtain wall features “power-generating wings” and “ventilation boxes”. The south and east facades of the tower use folded, unitized photovoltaic glass, which also allows for natural light. The folded panels at the corners are equipped with cadmium telluride thin-film photovoltaic modules (“power-generating wings”) that convert solar energy into electricity. These generate about 306,700 KWh annually, providing clean energy and saving over 200,000 RMB in annual electricity costs.

该碲化镉光伏组件具有20%的透光率，不会对视线造成明显遮挡，浅灰色的“发电翅”和立面幕墙相统一，整体有机结合，使得建筑立面和谐美观。主动式的自然通风可开启窗–“通风翼”，允许主要功能房间平均自然通风换气次数不小于2次/小时的面积达到100%，利用自然通风优化室内气流，减少对空调系统的依赖，进一步提升了项目的节能效果，同时还赋予了建筑独特的外观效果。

These photovoltaic components have 20% light transmission, which doesn’t significantly block the view, and their light grey color integrates seamlessly with the facade, creating a harmonious aesthetic. The building also utilizes natural ventilation with operable windows (“ventilation boxess”) that allow for optimal airflow, reducing reliance on air conditioning and further improving energy efficiency, while giving the building a unique visual appeal.

为了提升建筑的节能性能与室内舒适度，项目在外围护系统设计中采用了多项创新措施。首先，全玻璃幕墙的可见光透射比控制在0.40以上，确保室内自然采光充足，同时内区采光系数满足标准的面积比例超过60%，大幅降低了对人工照明的依赖。其次，建筑西侧和南侧的幕墙安装了光伏“发电翅”，不仅能够利用太阳能发电，还兼具垂直遮阳功能，有效减少了阳光直射带来的热量。东侧和北侧的幕墙则通过外侧铝合金构件实现了垂直遮阳，进一步优化了遮阳效果。

To further enhance energy performance and indoor comfort, the building’s curtain wall system was designed with several innovative measures. The visible light transmission ratio of the full glass curtain wall is controlled above 0.40, ensuring sufficient natural light, while the interior’s daylight factor exceeds the required proportion by more than 60%, reducing dependence on artificial lighting.

此外，项目中可调节遮阳设施的面积占外窗透明部分的比例达到55.47%，结合形体外遮阳与室内遮阳设计，形成了主被动结合的遮阳系统。这一设计有效缓解了日照直射、眩光和西晒等问题，显著降低了建筑的整体能耗。同时，室内采光舒适性也得到了显著提升，为使用者创造了更加健康、节能的室内环境。在塔楼的屋顶也同时铺设了光伏发电玻璃，充分体现了绿色节能的理念。通过智能化管理系统，实现能源的高效利用和环境的智能调控。这些设计不仅降低了运营成本，还为员工提供了更加健康、舒适的工作环境，真正实现了可持续发展。

The western and southern facades feature photovoltaic “power-generating wings” for solar energy and shading, while the eastern and northern facades use external aluminum components for additional shading. The project also includes adjustable shading systems, which reduce glare and heat from direct sunlight, significantly lowering overall energy consumption while improving indoor lighting comfort. The roof of the tower is also equipped with photovoltaic glass, fully embodying the green energy concept. Through an intelligent management system, the project efficiently utilizes energy and optimizes environmental conditions. These designs not only reduce operating costs but also provide employees with a healthier, more comfortable working environment, fully achieving sustainability.

03 建筑与自然的交响：一场未来的畅想Architecture and Nature in Harmony: A Vision for the Future

作为新一代绿色总部大楼的代表，湖北联投科技产业大厦在外围护系统设计中融合了多项前沿技术与创新理念。建筑采用了光伏建筑一体化技术，将光伏发电系统与遮阳构件巧妙结合，既实现了清洁能源的利用，又优化了遮阳效果。同时，隐藏式自然通风技术与围护结构装配化技术的应用，进一步提升了建筑的节能性能与施工效率。设计团队通过主动式与被动式节能措施的结合，并引入新材料与新技术，严格遵循绿色建筑标准，显著增强了外围护系统的隔热、隔声及节能性能。

As a representative of the new generation of green headquarters buildings, the Hubei United Investment Technology Industrial Building integrates cutting-edge technologies and innovative concepts in its design. The building incorporates photovoltaic technology into its architecture, combining energy generation and shading in a seamless manner. The use of hidden natural ventilation and modular construction further enhances the building’s energy performance and construction efficiency.

建筑整体造型简洁大气，光伏发电系统不仅作为功能性构件，还兼具外遮阳作用，极大减少了纯装饰性构件的使用，其造价仅占建筑总造价的0.58%。这一设计不仅体现了高效与实用，还彰显了绿色低碳的理念。设计团队希望通过这一独特的设计，为武汉城市建设提供新的思路与借鉴，推动城市可持续发展。

The building’s simple yet grand design, with its photovoltaic system serving both functional and shading roles, significantly reduces decorative components, comprising only 0.58% of the total building cost. This design embodies efficiency and practicality while emphasizing a green, low-carbon approach. Through this unique design, the project hopes to offer new ideas and insights for Wuhan’s urban development and contribute to the city’s sustainable future.
