2012年11月1日，中国政府援毛里塔尼亚总统府办公楼、国际会议中心维修项目交接仪式在毛首都努瓦克肖特国际会中心内维修一新的50人会议厅举行。中国驻毛大使陈公来和毛住房、城市规划与领土整治部（下称住房部）部长西迪亚分别代表各自政府签订了项目交接证书。毛总统府部长级秘书长、总理府部长级秘书长、住房部秘书长、国际会议中心主任、中国驻毛使馆经商处和项目实施单位代表出席了交接仪式。

On November 1, 2012, the handover ceremony of the maintenance project of the presidential palace and the International Conference Center of Mauritania assisted by the Chinese government was held in the newly repaired 50 person conference hall in the International Conference Center in Nouakchott, the capital of Mauritania. Chen gonglai, Chinese ambassador to Mao Zedong, and sidia, Minister of the Ministry of housing, urban planning and territorial improvement of Mao Zedong (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry of housing), signed the project handover certificate on behalf of their respective governments. The ministerial Secretary General of the presidential palace of Mao Zedong, the ministerial Secretary General of the prime minister's office, the Secretary General of the Ministry of housing, the director of the International Conference Center, and representatives of the business office of the Chinese Embassy in Mao Zedong and the project implementation unit attended the handover ceremony.

毛是中国在非洲值得信任的好兄弟。中国一贯重视发展与毛友好合作关系，两国在政治、经贸、文化、教育和卫生等多个领域合作密切，这个项目的顺利交接更深具意义。中方始终关注这个项目的实施进程。项目实施单位和中方技术人员克服了各种困难，仅用16个月时间就完成了这个技术复杂的维修项目亦体现了双方密切的配合和高效的工作。多年来，中国尽所能向毛提供力所能及的援助，建设了诸如友谊港、国际会议中心、奥林匹克体育场和政府办公楼等多个展现两国深厚友谊的援助项目，在改善毛基础设施条件和提高人民生活水平方面做出了巨大努力。中方相信在毛阿齐兹总统的领导下，中、毛两国友好合作关系必将更上一层楼！

Mao is a trusted brother of China in Africa. China has always attached importance to developing friendly and cooperative relations with Mao Zedong. The two countries have close cooperation in politics, economy and trade, culture, education, health and other fields. The smooth handover of this project is more meaningful. China has always been concerned about the implementation process of this project. The project implementation unit and Chinese technicians overcame various difficulties and completed this technically complex maintenance project in only 16 months, which also reflects the close cooperation and efficient work of both sides. Over the years, China has done its best to provide assistance to Mao Zedong within its capabilities, and has built a number of assistance projects to show the profound friendship between the two countries, such as the friendship port, the International Conference Center, the Olympic Stadium and the government office building. China has made great efforts to improve the infrastructure conditions of Mao Zedong and improve the living water quality of the people. The Chinese side believes that under the leadership of President Mao Aziz, the friendly and cooperative relations between China and Mauritius will be further improved!

毛住房部长西迪亚代表毛政府感谢中国政府和人民多年来对毛政府和人民无私的援助及对毛经济实现高速增长起到的不可忽视的重要作用。同时，西表示基础设施和城市化建设既是阿齐兹总统执政以来关注的重点领域，也是毛实现发展的首要利益，希望中、毛两国继续加强在上述领域的全面合作。

援毛总统府办公楼、国际会议中心维修项目于2011年7月6日正式开工，2012年10月29日竣工，实施单位为中铁四局集团有限公司，主要内容包括更换总统府空调系统、总统府别墅空调系统和淋浴设备；更换国际会议中心空调系统、4套同声传译系统和800人会议扩声系统。

The maintenance project of the office building of the presidential palace and the International Conference Center aided by Mao Zedong was officially started on July 6, 2011 and completed on October 29, 2012. The implementation unit is China Railway fourth Bureau Group Co., Ltd., which mainly includes the replacement of the air conditioning system of the presidential palace, the air conditioning system of the presidential villa and the shower equipment; Replace the air conditioning system of the International Conference Center, 4 sets of simultaneous interpretation systems and 800 person conference sound reinforcement system.
