Leize ancient temple was founded in Heze, Shandong Province, the source of dragons and phoenixes and the hometown of Yao and shun. According to the textual research of the inscription on the restoration of Leize temple, it has been regarded as the only official Temple of the local government from the Sui and Tang Dynasties to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, as a reconstruction and restoration project.

沧桑百年，值遇文革浩劫，但即将2010年华夏盛世之际，雷泽古道场依旧荒凉，只遗一钟一残碑矣！2008年时有比丘释道续由居士相请因缘菏泽，在山东佛教协会会长上明下哲老和尚嘱咐下安心办道，法师四方行脚奔走，发愿“破邪显正，高树法幢”，在当地政府领导支持下率领四众弟子步入复修雷泽古寺，重振古刹如来家风道业！

据史记，隋唐至明清雷泽古寺一直奉为当地政府唯一官寺，千余年来迭经兴废。2010年，道续法师同四众弟子开始牡丹城这唯一比丘丛林的重建工作，历时两年恢复斋堂厨房山门等建设。2012年4月6日在当地政府，十方善信支持下雷泽古寺大雄宝殿开工启建。

According to historical records, Leize ancient temple has been regarded as the only official Temple of the local government from the Sui and Tang Dynasties to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and has been abandoned for more than a thousand years. In 2010, master Daoxu and his four disciples began the reconstruction of peony city, the only bhikkhu jungle, and it took two years to resume the construction of Zhaitang kitchen and mountain gate. On April 6, 2012, with the support of the local government and the good faith of ten parties, the construction of the main hall of Leize ancient temple began.

雷泽古寺大雄宝殿为寺院主体建筑，规划设计重檐歇山式明清仿古建筑，钢筋混泥土结构。通高23.9米、占地面积2480平米。殿内常住三尊高12米香樟木质金装佛像，周匝四壁永久供奉10000多尊铜制如来坐像，藻井钛金万佛浮雕。殿外白玉为栏、青石为阶、巍峨耸立鲁西南大地之上！

The main hall of Leize ancient temple is the main building of the temple. It is planned and designed to be a Ming and Qing Dynasty antique building with double eaves and mountains, with a reinforced concrete structure. It is 23.9 meters high and covers an area of 2480 square meters. There are three 12 meter high camphor wood and gold Buddha statues in the hall, and more than 10000 bronze Buddha statues and caisson titanium ten thousand Buddha reliefs are permanently enshrined on the four walls of zhouza. Outside the hall, white jade is the fence, bluestone is the step, towering on the southwest land of Shandong!
